Welcome to the Waterville Area
Art Society where Maine artists gather to celebrate
and promote the visual arts. We are an active group
of amateur and professional artists who meet monthly
from September through June to enjoy lively
discussions, programs, workshops, and field trips. We
also have annual member exhibits that afford us an
opportunity to share our art with the community.
In our effort to encourage,
promote, and educate others about the importance and
role of art in daily life, we maintain a scholarship
fund that is designed to help a deserving art student
realize his or her artistic career.
Our commitment as artists causes
us to be an active, inspiring voice in our community
as we seek to make our immediate world a more
beautiful place in which to live.
